Keep A Clean Home

If you are noticing that you have a mouse problem now, it may be because your home may not be as clean as it should be. Crumbs and other particles of food that are left out can attract mice. Now, if you already have a mouse or two in your home, they will most likely not leave, but it is possible to make your home less attractive to other rodents. 

Set A Trap

The best thing about mice is that they are very curious creatures, and are therefor pretty easy to catch in a trap. There is a definite technique to catching a mouse in a trap. One of the most important things to do is to find where the mouse actually is. The good news is that mice do not travel far from where they are making a living. So, if you find fecal pellets you have effectively located the mouse. Make sure you set the trap with food that the mouse has been consuming. If the mouse is after your rice crispy cereal set your trap with that cereal. Also try and make sure that the mouse does not set the trap off prematurely. So, if next to a wall set the trap perpendicular to the wall with the death side to the wall.
